ACE 14, Treutlen 0

          The Gryphons did all the scoring in the first three innings, finishing with eight hits and walking 11 times. Gavin West drove in three runs, Sam Whitley and Ashton Donaldson driving in two. Chandler Mitchell, Jack Corrigan, and Gavin West combined for nine strikeouts, one alk, and one hit.

Houston County 12, Warner Robins 1

          Three in the fifth by Houston County ended the game in the bottom half. Drew Burress, Treyson Hughes, Coleman Willis, and Trent Ringer had two-hit games, with two-RBI nights from Hughes, Willis, Andrew Dunford, Ringer, and Garrett Hortman. Dunford and Ringer handled the four-hit, six-strikeout pitching duties.

 

Locust Grove 3, Jones County 2

          A two-out single to left gave Locust Grove the home walk-off. Jacob Thompson and John Alan Richter had two hits for the Greyhounds, Richter driving in both runs.

Mary Persons 14, Peach County 3

          Nine runs split between the fourth and fifth innings broke open a 5-3 game. Jaden Bankston and Aric Mock had three hits for the Bulldogs, Bankston with two RBI along with Caden Swancey and Jake Gore, Eric Snow driving in three runs with two hits. Gage Hopper and Thorn Anderson also had two hits for the Bulldogs.

Perry 4, Howard 3

          Howard got momentum late, down 4-0 after four, but Perry stopped the rally in the seventh. Tanner Knowles, Lane Rucker, and Carson Bryant had two hits each for the Panthers, while Gavin Williams had half of Howard’s six hits. Andrew Garnett fanned nine in six innings for the Huskies. Perry (10-2/3-0) hosts Northside Tuesday while Howard (4-6/2-1) welcomes Rutland Wednesday.

Pike County 5, Upson-Lee 4

          A three-run six lifted visiting Pike County, helped in the game by three Knights errors and two unearned runs. Jake Willis struck out six in 5.1 innings for the Knights, who were held to four hits but earned eight walks en route to stranding six.

Rutland 13, Westside 1

          Rutland charged out to with runs in four innings to finish it in the top of the fifth. Casen Summerday had three hits, and Phoenix Blackwell, Fisher Hopkins and Joshua Vinson two each, Blackwell with four RBI. Summerday and Dylan Pope teamed for 11 strikeouts and two hits.

West Laurens 11, Spalding 0

          Colton Scott and Eli Floyd teamed for nine strikeouts in a one-hitter. Matthew Mebane had four hits and two RBI, and Carson Estep three hits and four RBI
