Tuesday's Central Georgia Scoreboard

Altierra Gooch’s 16 and Ileisha Mitchell’s 11 led the way for Dodge County.

            The Greyhounds cruised into the 4-5A region semifinals, and will play at home on Thursday.

Pike County 47, Peach County 36

            The Trojans rallied from a 32-9 halftime deficit to get within range in the season-ending region tournament loss. Freshman Alexia Heyward had 12 points and 16 rebounds for the Trojans, who finish 10-14.

Rutland 43, Howard 22

Washington County 73, Lamar County 45

            Five Golden Hawks (10-1) scored between 10 and 17 points, with all five racking up other stats. De’Asia Canty had 17 points and nine rebounds, and Miracle Parker 15 points, five rebounds, and four steals. Nariah Gamble barely missed a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds to go with three blocks. Mikaili Parker scored 12 points, grabbed eight rebounds and had six assists and four steals. Ashley Gray also just missed a double-double, with 10 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and six steals.

            The Bulldogs season ended despite 19 points and eight rebounds from Alex Jamal Brown. Dawson Niblett added 11 points, Lamont Jones 10 rebounds, and JaBoree Goodson eight assists.

FPD 79, Stratford 67

            Jordan Jones went for 30 points and Jay King 15 to lead the region leaders. Isaiah Josey had 16 for the Eagles, Jack Miscall adding 15 and Khalil Green 13.

            Jairus Brown’s 15 points keyed the Golden Hawks, who improved to 12-1 overall and 10-0 in region. They visit Northeast on Friday. Brown had six steals, while Travonte Byrd and Omari Brown had 10 points apiece.

            Aniston Dowdy handled half of the Royals’ scoring. Kayla Kieffer, Jordyn Krieg, Madison Purvis, and Harlie Corner added goals for Bleckley County.

            Charlie Williams had three goals, Jackson Paul two, and Nativ Patel one for the Royals.
