            Taliah Grier led Central with 20 points and five steals, with Taniya Pryor adding 16 points and eight boards, Mckenzie Evans snagging 12 rebounds to miss a double-double by a point.

            The Warhawks marched out to a 20-4 lead and held off the Trojans’ rally for a non-region win. Tiara Williams led Veterans (8-13) with 11, while Atiana Gilcrist had 13 for Peach County (9-13). The Trojans open region tournament play Monday at 6 p.m. at home against Crisp County or Mary Persons.

            Miracle Parker went for 19 and Mikaili Parker 17, with 13 from Ashley Gray. Mikaili Parker had seven steals and Gray seven rebounds and four steals.

            Washington County lost its first game, falling to 11-1 with a game against Lamar County on Tuesday. Jairus Brown led the Golden Hawks with 18 points and five rebounds, JT. Thomas chipping in 15 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and four steals.

            Dre Pettigrew led the Raiders in the rivalry with 13 points, five rebounds, and four assists, Jaylon Stephens adding 10 points and Travion Solomon seven assists.

            DeAngelo Hines topped the scoring for the undefeated Warhawks in the non-region win with 19 points. TJ Grant was next with 16 points and nine boards, and Tahj Williams with 14 points.
