          The host Chargers held off the Trojans – who had a brutal night at the line - behind Zurri Davis’ 13 points, Taliah Grier’s 11 and Trazur Cooper’s 11, Tayelor Davis grabbing 10 rebounds to go with four steals. Atiana Gilcrist topped the Trojans (9-12/5-8) with a game-high 16 points. Peach County visits Veterans at 5 p.m. Saturday.

          Jordan Jones was Jordanesque for the Vikings, knocking out a school record 60 points on a whopping 13 3-pointers for the region leaders.

          Travion Solomon led the Raiders’ offensive barrage with 25 points and five rebounds, Zion Odoms barely missed a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds, plus five blocks. Jaylon Stephens chipped in 12 points, five steals, and five rebounds.

          The Eagles improved to 14-4 overall and 7-1 in region, thanks to 19 points from Khalil Green, 14 from Ben Baxley, 13 from Isaiah Josey, and 11 from Garrett Lang.

          The Warhawks Express continued, improving to 16-0/6-0. DeAngelo Hines and TJ Grant had 18 points each, Tajh Williams adding another 13.

Washington County 60, Bleckley County 33

          Warren Coneway led a foursome of double-digit scorers for the undefeated (11-0/9-0) Golden Hawks with 14 points, seven rebounds, and four steals. JT Thomas added 12 points and Christian Moore 11, while junior Caleb Moore was good for a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, plus five assists. Jairus Brown just missed a double-double, with nine points and eight boards.’

          Tre Grane just missed a double-double for the Eagles with 26 points and nine rebounds. Kaleb Lindley had 14 poitns and six rebounds.
