Henley even after first round

          Russell Henley shot an even 71 Thursday in the first round of the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

          The Stratford grad started on No. 10 and had a bogey on 14, then countered a bogey on 2 with two pars.

          Henley missed the cut last year with a 1-over 143.
