            Tre Grane was the lone Eagle in double figures with 50, Northside falling in the region tournament game

            Dre Pettigrew led the AA Raiders over the 4A Warhawks with 15 points and eight rebounds, Travion Solomon adding 14 points and five assists.

            The Warhawks (20-0) won the 1-5A semifinal behind 15 points from TJ Grant, and 10 each from Khalil Johnson, Tajh Williams, and Aaron Jones.

Baseball

Bleckley County 5, Jeff Davis 2

            Down 2-0 after two, the Royals took the lead for good with four runs in the fourth. James Fordham drove in two runs for Bleckley County, which was outhit 7-5. Brody Little, Conner Senters, and Matt Huff handled mond duties, Senters and Huff teaming for nine strikeouts and no walks.

Dodge County 10, Fitzgerald 8

Jasper County 7, Newton 4

            The Hurricanes went up 5-0 after two and held off some late offense. Baylor Edge drove in four runs on two doubles, and Tristan Humphries had two hits, Mac Barton scoring three times. Cole Hayes went five and Myles Proctor two for Jasper County.

Jones County 7, Perry 3

Mary Persons 4, Howard 0

            Thomas Willingham gave up only three hits and three walks against seven strikeouts in the complete-game win, the Bulldogs putting together some small-ball action for the win, aided in part by 10 walks.

Mount de Sales 8, Putnam County 1

            Putnam County’s 1-0 lead with a run in the fifth didn’t last too long, the Cavs putting eight runs across in the sixth. Jordan Green had two hits for the Cavs, who were outhit 7-5 but benefitted from 11 walks. Chase Lupton had two hits for the War Eagles. Drew Senn and Elijah Freeman combined for nine strikeouts for Mount de Sales.

Wilkinson County 16, Dublin 1

            The Warriors needed only eight hits, thanks to five errors and eight walks.
