            The Greyhounds held Locust Grove scoreless in the third quarter. Amaris Ridgeway scored 13 of her game-high 19 points in the first quarter. Arie Smith and Vernijah Canty added 12 points each, Canty all on 3-pointers.

            Freshman Anna Talcott topped Tattnall with 10 points.

            Mikaili Parker alone was more than enough, with 20 points and five assists. Ashley Gray added 19 points, and Tamia Thomas six steals.

            Heaven Carson hit a 3-pointer with less than 20 seconds left to tie it, then Jaedon McClendon missed a pair of free throws after a technical on the Lamar County bench. But he redeemed himself with the game-winning jumper at the horn. The Indians were balanced, with four in double figures. McClendon led the way with 17 points, while Will Jordan and My’Sean Williams had 11 each and Duke Johnson 10.
