Bleckley County had the best finishes among Central Georgia teams in Friday’s portion of the GHSA state cross country meet.

          Both Royals teams finished third in AA, and they had the top individual finishers, with third-place Luke Churchwell for the boys and sixth place Tristen Crosby for the girls.

          Mary Persons’ girls took fourth in AAA girls.

          Classes 4A, 3A, and AA ran Friday, with the rest on Saturday.
