Who's going to win this week's Central Georgia high school football games?

Last week:  25-7

Season: 198-63, 75.9 percent
Within 7 points of margin: 12, 60 for the season; picked Central margin

A note: The Sports Report policy is to max out picks at 39 points, although some games could earn a predicted margin of victory in the 40s and 50s.

Games of the Week

Class 6A
Houston County (4-5/0-2) at Northside (6-3/1-1)
The winner gets a home game, but the opposing region (3) is so weak, the loser here has a good chance to win the first-round game anyway.
TSR pick: Northside by 10

Class 5A
No. 5 Warner Robins (7-1/1-1) at Coffee (8-1/2-1)
On paper, and certainly record-wise, it’s mighty even. But on the field?
TSR pick: Warner Robins by 19

Class A
GMC (9-0/5-0) at ACE (3-3/3-1)
Nobody thought these teams would have these records at this point of the season back in August. Or September. But it’s pretty cool. Can GMC finish the perfect regular-season? Can ACE pull off a burly upset?
TSR pick: GMC by 12

FPD (6-2/3-0) at Stratford (6-2/2-1)
Does Stratford own the land between the stadium and Peake Road? A good spot for a parking lot, which would be full for this one. FPD has found a level of consistency, a little bit more than Stratford. The Vikings’ D determines this one.
TSR pick: FPD by 3

Notables
Woodland (4-4/3-2) at Jones County (6-2/5-0)
The Greyhounds have won the last two meetings by a 94-6 count. That 47-3 average won’t happen this go ‘round. But Jones County should gain control in the second half.
TSR pick: Jones County by 25

No. 7 Spalding (6-2/2-1) at Westside (4-4/2-2)
The Jaguars are in the hunt for a home playoff game, their first since 2003, and the Seminoles are 1-9 in their last 10 games against ranked teams. But this should be close.
TSR pick: Spalding by 16

Jackson (5-3/3-2) at Mary Persons (5-3/3-2)
The 79th meeting is basically for third place in the region, and the loser may have to sweat out getting fourth, depending on other situations. Jackson’s breaking of a seven-game losing streak in last year’s 28-27 win makes it even more spicy. The Red Devils have a crushing defeat by Peach County – 22 straight points in the fourth quarter – to get over.
TSR pick: Jackson by 3

No. 10 Washington County (5-3/2-2) at No. 9 Dodge County (5-3/2-2)
The winner gets the No. 4 team in the state in the first round, the loser gets No. 2. But momentum is momentum. This isn’t a meeting of fancy teams, and if the home stands are pretty full and fairly loud …
TSR pick: Dodge County by 5

Johnson County (5-3/3-3) at Dooly County (5-3/4-2)
Region 4-A is a playoff-scenario mess. The Bobcats clinch third with a win, and their first winning season since 2018.
TSR pick: Dooly County by 9

Bethlehem Christian (6-3/0-1) at Westfield (6-1/1-0)
One team has won four straight, all by at least 14 points, the other has lost three of its last four.
TSR pick: Westfield by 22
