Macon Touchdown Club picks two Trojans and a Raider
The Macon Touchdown Club honored three from Tattnall and Northeast as the latest players of the week.
Back of the Week: Tattnall senior quarterback/defensive back Clay Rowland completed 11 of 19 passes for 190 yards and a touchdown, and threw the game-winning two-point conversion pass in the 42-41 OT win over Stratford.On defense, he had 12 tackles and three assists.
Lineman: Senior defensive end Marquis Hughes of Northeast had eight tackles, two sacks, and four tackles for loss in the Raiders' big 3-AA 21-7 win over Dodge County.
Special Teams: Junior athlete Brayden Smith of Tattnall returned a punt 70 yards for a TD and caught six passes for 106 yards and a touchdown in the win over Stratford.
