Tuesday's Central Georgia Scoreboard

Teams are advised to update their MaxPreps schedules as games are cancelled or postponed. Also, update rosters with proper numbers and accurately spelled names.

            Freshman Madison Ruff led the way for Baldwin with 21 points, Tamia Smith with 19 and Nykeisha Thornton added 11.

Dublin 63, Johnson County 28

            Terrianna Wilburn of Dublin had a game-high 24 points, with Brianna McRae right behind with 22 points.

Dodge County 49, Southwest 39

            Altierra Gooch picked up 22 for Dodge County, with 10 coming from Jada Baxter.

Houston County 57, Veterans 44

            The Bears took the county showdown to improve to 7-2. Kendra Roberts had 14points, eight rebounds, and five assists for the Bears, with Marquia White a rebound from a double-double, with 15 points and nine rebounds to go with four assists. Alexis Williams had a pair of steals and 12 points.

Lee County 57, Northside 47

            Kamia Ridley led Northside with 15, McKenzie Arline adding 10 points. Northside hosts Valdosta on Friday.

Peach County 51, Central 48

            Central’s fourth-quarter comeback from a dozen down was rendered moot when Atiana Gilcrist hit three free throws in the final 30 seconds en route to 10 points. Ny’Kiryha Newsome topped the Trojans with 11 points Taniya Pryor paced Central with 16 points with Taliah Grier adding 14. Peach County (5-7/2-4) is at Mary Persons on Friday.

            Jakera Ellerbe led the Knights with 22 points.

Washington County 73, Bleckley County 46

            Senior Miracle Parker went off for 30 points, adding six assists and three steals. De’Asia Canty chipped in a solid night with 18 points, seven rebounds, and five steals. Ashley Gray barely missed a double-double with 11points and nine rebounds, plus four steals.

            Kevin Sykes and MySean Williams teamed for almost half of Dodge County’s points, Sykes with 14 and Williams with 13.

            Chaydon Stone had a solid game, with seven assists to go with 28 points. Jaylen Sanford had 14 points. The Greyhounds host Eagles Landing Saturday afternoon.

            Tre Grane led the Eagles with 22 in the road loss.

            T.J. Grant and DeAngelo Hines led the way for the 10-0/1-0 Warhawks. Grant dropped 25 on the Bears, while Hines – who recently passed 1,000 points for his career – added 19.

            The Golden Hawks stayed undefeated – 5-0/3-0 – behind a big game from Caleb Moore, who had 19 points, 13 rebounds, and five steals. Jarius Brown added 10 points and five rebounds.
