Joseph Dupree was an early victim of the COVID-19 virus, back in March, and it hit him pretty good.
For months, he wasn’t much for a 2020 football season, with progress so slow and numbers rising, including those of high school-age students.
Eventually, his confidence in all phases grew, and he was among the last coaches to finally meet with his team face to face and start workouts.
The Southwest coach is now content, and ready for the season to start. The Patriots take on Randolph-Clay at Thompson on Friday.
