Second Mary Persons program is sidelined

It was football a few weeks ago, and now softball at Mary Persons will be inactive after a member of the coaching staff tested positive for COVID-19.

Football suspended workouts until June 7 after a player tested positive.

According to a Monroe County Schools release, the unnamed coach will self-quarantine for two weeks. Workouts had yet to start, so no students have reportedly been in contact with the coach.
