Signings

          A pair of Washington County basketball players have signed with junior colleges.

          Destinee Ellison is headed to East Georgia State. The guard averaged 17.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3.9 steals a game en route to All-Region in 3-AA.

          From the boys team, Jarden Maze has signed with Southern Union State in Wadley, Ala.

          Maze was good for 18.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1.8 steals, while shooting 47 percent from the floor and 36 percent on 3-pointers.
