          Houston County’s Addy Galason signed to play soccer at Truett-McConnell.

          Madison Bennett of Jones County signed to play softball at Georgia Highlands. She’s a four-year starter in softball and three-year starter in other sports.

          An eight-run first put the Trojans in control, toward a five-inning win and no-hitter by Grayson Hopkins, who whiffed 12 with no walks.. Taylor Dixon, Ashton Hopkins, and Dalton Prestridge had two hits each, Dixon driving in two runs from the top spot.

Rutland 16, Central 5

          JaMarco Hughes had a day, going 4 for 6 with four RBI and three runs to lead Rutland. Casen Summerday had three hits and three RBI, and Brayden Pollard added two hits with two RBI from Holden Hallman. Gerald Tate and Tyler Gilbert had two hits each for Central.

Tattnall 8, ACE 0

          Dawson Brown thew a one-hitter, striking out 12 as Tattnall took a 7-0 lead after two. Carter Fink had three its, with two-hit games from Brooks Gorman, Hunter Alexander, and Bo Hatcher, Alexander with three RBI and Brett McHugh with two.

Westfield 9, Piedmont 3

B-Bleckley County 4, Montgomery Count 1

          Charlie Williams had two goals for the Royals, Skyler White and Treg Corner with one each.
