Stratford’s Cephus makes NFL announcement
As expected, Stratford alum Quintez Cephus announced Monday that he was skipping his final year of eligibility at Wisconsin and heading for the NFL.

The redshirt junior topped the Badgers in catches, yards, and receiving touchdowns after sitting out last year to fight sexual assault charges, of which he was acquitted last summer. His eligibility was then restored by the school and the NCAA, and he returned to Wisconsin.
Cephus is projected to go in the middle rounds or later, but he’ll have chances to improve his status.
