Braves Report
Atlanta isn’t exactly finishing the regular season with a lot of oomph, managing only four hits in a 3-0 loss to the Mets.
Of course, the Mets scraped up only four hits, too, but went 1 for 1 with runners in scoring position and stranded only one, to 0-for-6 and 10 for Atlanta.
Mike Foltynewicz was decent, with three runs, five strikeouts, a walk but two homers in four innings, followed by Max Fried (one hit, five strikeouts) for 3.2.
Pete Alonso belted his 53rd homer, a single-season rookie record.
