Apparently recheduled or cancelled. GAPPS schedule has Fullington-CFCA. ACE isn't updating MaxPreps. ACE's GHSA schedule has Fullington. Fullington played CFCA, and ACE was off.

Bleckley County 43, Marion County 28
The Royals (3-1) trailed 15-6 after one and 22-14 at halftime, tying it with 8:30 left in the third. That lasted less than four minutes before Marion County regained the lead. But the Royals got on top 29-28 with 2:02 in the third, expanding the lead midway through the fourth and adding a late touchdown.

Brookstone 23, FPD 21
The visitors seemed in control, up 20-0 early in the third and holding the hosts in check. FPD (1-3) stormed back with 14 third-quarter points to make it a game, then held Brookstone (2-1) to a field goal after a long kickoff return. The Vikings fumbled inside the 5, and then the Cougars coughed it up for an FPD touchdown. With no timeouts and 2:22 left, FPD marched from its 5 to the Brookstone 39, but a fumble on a second-effort play in Brookstone territory a minute later ended the Vikings’ comeback. Parker Ingram had a solid second half and finished 16 of 30 for 223 yards and a touchdown, plus two picks. Jordan Jones caught six passes for 93 yards and a touchdown, making a great leaping catch in coverage. Griffin Brown rushed for 82 yards on 16 carries with a score.

Colquitt County 31, Warner Robins 14
The Packers got 332 yards and four touchdowns through the air. Colquitt County (3-1)led 21-7 at halftime, added a field goal and then an interception return for a score in the third quarter. The Demons (3-1) got a touchdown and had a chance late to make it a 10-point game, but couldn’t.

Dublin 49, Brooks County 35
The Irish (3-0) turned a 21-7 second quarter and 28-21 halftime deficit around. Markell Mitchell’s 1-yard run and John Williams Potter’s PAT tied it with 6:16 left in the third. The Irish took the lead for good early in the fourth on another short Mitchell TD run and Potter PAT. The defense forced a punt on a quick possession, and then Zion Kemp took off for a 44-yard TD run with around nine minutes left. The kick put the Irish up 42-28. Brooks County (1-3) answered with 1:41 left to pull within a score only for Dublin to recover the onside kick and watch JaQues Evans go the distance, 49 yards, on the first play to seal it.

Fellowship Christian 42, Stratford 14

It was a game for awhile, Fellowship Christian leading 7-0 after one. But the visitors scored on the first play of the second quarter, followed five minutes later with a pick-6, and then a safety and a touchdown in the final 90 seconds of the first half for a 28-0 lead at intermission. Dell Sikes’ 69-yard run with 5:05 left in the third broke the shutout for the Eagles (1-3).

Fitzgerald 30, Dodge County 27

The Purple Hurricane (4-1) led 17-7 at halftime only for the Indians (1-3) to storm back and take the lead with 14 third-quarter points on a Daylon Gordon TD run and a 37-yard pas from Kade Harpe to Mikhail Carr. Dodge County’s 21-17 lead entering the fourth became a deficit a minute in, but Harpe and Carr hooked up for an 80-yard score with about five minutes left only to miss the PAT. Fitzgerald tied it with a field goal with about two minutes left, and then drilled a 49-yard game-winner with three seconds left.

Griffin 47, Upson-Lee 7

The Bears (4-0) stayed undefeated in one of the more odd games of the night. Griffin didn’t score until late in the second quarter for a 6-0 halftime lead. The Bears then scored two touchdowns in short order in the third with the Knights (2-3) answering one for a 19-7 game. Griffin added a TD pass late in the third to go up 26-7 only to accelerate the flurry in the fourth.

Hancock Central 38, GMC 3

Howard kicker Elizabeth Rodenroth missed the halftime chat, since she was being crowned homecoming queen Friday night. King Eric Manson is next to her.

Howard 25, Jackson 20
The Red Devils had a good start with a 14-3 lead until the Huskies got a huge pass-and-catch from Jaylon Clark to Javarsia Meadows for 33 yards and a score, and the conversion pass from Clark to 40 to pull within three. Then they scored two touchdowns in short order in the third quarter for a 25-14 lead. Jackson got one score back in the first few minutes of the fourth and Howard was able to hold on for the defensive win. Clark, though, was 11 for 17 for 165 yards and a touchdown, 72 yards and six passes going to Meadows. Kicker and homecoming queen Elizabeth Rodenroth hit two PATs and a 32-yard field goal. Howard avenged last year’s 24-6 loss, and is 4-1 for the third time in school history (2017, 2015)

Jones County 45, Woodland 6

Lamar County 31, Pike County 20

Lee County 56, Southwest 6

Macon County 47, Twiggs County 6

Metter 42, Wilkinson County 7

Mount de Sales 33, Greene County 8
A scheduling oddity and two weeks off didn’t slow down the Cavs, who got a field goal from Ethan Aler and a 25-yard scoop-and-score from Kobe Butts for a 10-0 lead after one. Aler added a field goal and Dexter Williams a 20-yard run for a 19-0 halftime lead, the defense blocking a field goal try. Green Country broke the shutout with 9:25 left in the fourth to pull within 26-8, Williams sealing it with another 20-yard score with 3:59 left. Williams passed for 91 yards and ran for 140 yards on 12 carries, just behind Josiah Cotton’s 153 yards on nine tries.

 Northeast 40, Central 14
The Raiders (2-2) rolled in the city rivalry, going up 20-0 at halftime, sparked by a Deondre Duehart score and Brandon Watkin pass catch for scores. Central (0-4) broke the shutout with 2:10 left in the third, but JaCoby Hill’s 50-yard return moments later returned the momentum to the Raiders. A 42-yard TD pass from Travion Solomon to Demarcus Griffin less than two minutes into the fourth all but sealed it, although Maurice Elder returned a kickoff for a score for the Chargers. Griffin had 117 yards on three catches, while Duehart ran for 122 yards on 13 tries. Solomon was a sizzling 16 of 20 for 30 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions.

Northside 33, Baldwin 28
Kevin Kinsler’s 100th career win - all at his alma mater - was a stressful one, the game bearing no resemblance to last year’s 45-0 Northside rout. It was tied at 7 after one, and Northside led 13-7 at the half. The lead was 19-14 until Baldwin scored with 3:28 left in the third for a 21-19 lead.
Zikhyree Hill’s 9-yard run with 48 seconds left in the third for Northside was answered by a 10-yard touchdown pass from Gerald Kilgore to Kemond Elum, Nick Gillian’s kick making it 28-27 with 4:32 left in the game. Only 94 seconds later. DeAndre McKenzie took off for a 35-yard touchdown, but the conversion pass failed for a five-point Northside lead.
Baldwin gained 269 yards, Northside 99 more despite running 22 fewer plays. The teams basically split 25 flags, but Baldwin gave up 30 more yards on one more penalty. Kilgore was 13 of 26 for 174 yards and three scores with an interception, while the Eagles were all of 1 for 5 for 51 yards. Jalen Cephus led Northside with 125 yards on eight carries. Quarterback Mason Ford went out with a late first-quarter injury and didn’t play the rest of the way, sophomore Elijah Robinson taking over. Zaahir Salahuddin had 78 yards rushing on 15.

Peach County 44, Mary Persons 13
The Bulldogs (2-3) put the Trojans (3-1) on notice early with William Stewart’s 32-yard scoring run at the 5:19 mark of the first, adding a 41-yard Julian Rivera field gaol less than two minutes later. Peach County answered late in the first and three minutes into the second quarter for a 14-10 lead. The Trojans added a short run and 29-yard field goal to return that notice and go up 24-10, a lead that could have been more if not for two turnovers and a muffed kickoff catch. A 63-yard TD pass a little more than four minutes into the third put the Trojans in control en route to their biggest win in this series since 35-0 in 2003, the second largest margin. The Bulldogs’ three losses tie the most for a season under eighth-year head coach Brian Nelson. It matched the worse loss under Nelson, 31 points to  Washington County on the road in 2014 and Ridgeland in the 2012 playoffs.

Rabun County 55, Putnam County 8

Schley County 40, Hawkinsville 7

South Effingham 31, West Laurens 30
West Laurens led 21-10 at halftime and 24-17 after three, but South Effingham came back and took the lead with about four minutes left, and ran in the conversion for a 31-24 advantage. Shontay Burney’s long run got the Raiders back on the board, but they suffered a bad snap on a two-point conversion try late and couldn’t stop South Effingham to get the ball back.
Head coach Kagan McClain was ejected in the third quarter after two unsportsmanlike penalties on the bench for coaches on the field during timeouts. The first came when the offensive assistants met with the offense on the sideline but on the field, and the second came in the third quarter. “We had a kid that had a peelback block, and I was on the field fussing at him and trying to get him under control,” McLain told Dublin radio station WKKZ-FM 92.7 afterward. “They flagged me for being on the field, so that’s two times being on the field, that’s two unsportsmanlikes, and they ejected me. … We’ve done it all year. … I guess it’s a rule they enforced that other officials associations have not enforced, because we’ve come out between series all year.”

Swainsboro 27, Washington County 7
Swainsboro quarterback Kade Youmans passed for two touchdowns and ran for two. The Golden Hawks scored with about five minutes left in the second quarter for a 21-7 halftime deficit.

Union County 53, Monticello 21

Veterans 7, Houston County 2
The oddest score of the night comes in a mild upset between two teams that did not have sharp nights, with missed field goals and fumbles and play-nullifying penalties, among other things. Houston County, in the top 10 in 6A in both polls, took a 2-0 lead when a high punt snap went out of the end zone midway through the first quarter. Nobody figured that an offense that put up 32 points on Peach County would get nothing on a defense that coughed up 52 points in its last two games to 4A teams. The Warhawks (4-1) lone score came on a 29-yard pass from Blake Ethridge to Jalon Shine with 8:12 left in the third.

John Milledge 38, Pinewood Christian 6
Amaad Foster ran for 140 of John Milledge’s 303 yards on the ground and scored twice to lead the Trojans, who led 17-0 at halftime. The JMA defense held Pinewood to six first downs and 133 yards in total offense. Landon Burney caught TD passes of 9 and 39 yards from Patrick McDonell. Pinewood broke the shutout in the third quarter only for the Trojans to score the next three touchdowns.
