ACE 17, Twiggs County 0

          The Gryphons reached base nearly twice as many times through walks as hits, with 11 freebies and six hits. Destiny Lucas and Mary Elizabeth Ballard had two hits each, Ballard with three RBI on a homer and double. Dixiana Sims was perfect through three with nine strikeouts on 33 pitches.

Crawford County 15, Manchester 5

          Manchester kicked it around for eight errors, leading to six unearned runs. Kiara Sears struck out 15 with four walks and five hits for Crawford County, which banged out 17 hits. Kayla Johnson went 3 for 5 with two RBI, the Eagles getting two-hit nights from Jaimee Hudson, Rylie Youngblood, Mary Kathryn Mason, Aleigha Evans, and Abby Walker.

East Laurens 5, Bleckley County 1

GMC 14, Glascock County 1

          The Bulldogs led 11-1 after two and were done in four. Bella Herring led the way with a 3-for-3 night and two RBI. Jordan Spear, Whitley Ward, and Mallory Watts had two hits each. Mary Katherine Lawrence, Lea Jannakos, and Josie Deason drove in two runs each, Herring throwing a four-hitter with eight strikeouts and no walks.

Houston County 10, Coffee 4

          The Bears (18-2) picked up the region win, improving to 5-0, with a strong finish scoring seven runs in the final two innings to take the lead and keep it. Kendall Huelsman had three hits and three RBI, while Makayla Krepps scored three times and drove in three runs on two hits. Alice Thomas, Ansley Garland, Olivia Brown, and Bobbi Poff had two hits each. Rylee Lamb gutted through 131 pitches in seven innings for the win, striking out seven with four walks and 10 hits.

John Milledge 2, Tiftarea 1

          Brayden Latimer reached on an error and courtesy runner Jordan Prestridge scored on Cadence Bandows’ double to tie it. Prestridge was sacrificed to third, and scored the game-winner on a two-out wild pitch. Latimer struck out 11 with two walks, and the Trojans survived being struck out 15 times.

Jones County 14, Eagles Landing 1

          The visitors turned a 3-1 lead after three into a 5.5-inning game with seven in the fourth and four in the fifth, aided by six errors and seven unearned runs. Destin Howard drove in five runs with two hits, including a homer. Madison Bennett added two hits to the nine-hit attack. Savannah Williams went five with five strikeouts, two hits and no walks.

Marion County 7, Hawkinsville 0

          Six Hawkinsville errors led to five unearned runs, and the Red Devils were held to four hits.

Mount de Sales 13, Wilkinson County 0

          The Cavs sealed it with six in the first, Chloe Nepveux striking out 11 with a walk and one hit in a six-inning complete game. Sarah Hatcher went 3 for 3, while Henderson Hurdle, McKenna Smith, and Jordyn Partain each had two hits, Partain driving in three runs.

Monticello 7, Putnam County 1

          Mickayla Wages had three hits at the top of the lineup and Taylor Rutledge two from the bottom, Rutledge and Jasmine Stone with two RBI each. Bailey Jenkins whiffed seven with no walks and four hits for the complete-game win.

Perry 8, Spalding 5

          Spalding tied it in the fifth, but the Panthers answered in the sixth and seventh. AliRae Dykes drove in five runs with three hits, Terra Odom, Harley Crumley, and Carsen Garner chipping in two hits each for the Panthers. Raegan Stella scored twice. Madison Homen went all seven innings, whiffing 10 with two walks and 11 hits.

Stratford 15, FPD 0

          The Eagles needed four innings, racking up 14 hits while Kenna McElmurray threw a three-hitter with six strikeouts and no walks. Mary Elaine Mitchell, McElmurray, Taylor Justice, and Shorter McCook had two hits each, Justice driving in three runs and Paige Gray and McCook two each. The Eagles are first in the sub-region.

Twiggs Academy 27, FPCA 15

Veterans 23, Warner Robins 5

          It was 9-0 after one, and the Warhawks dealt the knockout with 12 runs in the fourth, ending the game in the bottom half. Nicole Chavous and Kaylee Brown had three hits each, Chavous driving in five runs and Bornw three. Jenna Thomas added two hits, three RBI, and four runs, Emily Myers two hits and two RBI, and Cailyn Snellgrove two runs and three RBI. Catherine Hickey had two runs and two RBI, and Madison Bunnell scored three times. Bunnell got the win.

Upson-Lee 8, Mary Persons 6

West Laurens 11, Howard 5

          The Huskies took a 3-0 lead after one, but the Raiders came back with three in the third and two in the fourth, sealing it with five in the seventh. Beth Dorough had two hits and Elle Doolittle two RBI.
