ACE 15, FPD 0

The ACE bats woke up in a big way late with 13 runs in the sixth to blow open a 2-0 game. FPD had more errors than hits, by one, for 10 unearned runs. Sara Winters went 4 for 5 with three runs and two RBI from the leadoff spot for ACE. Dixiana Sims drove in five runs on two hits – a double and triple – 10-strikeout, two-hit six-inning performance on the mound.

Central 17, Wilkinson County 1

GMC 12, Washington-Wilkes 0

Houston County 9, West Laurens 0

Olivia Brown fanned four with a walk and two hits in five innings for the Bears. Houston County’s 12- hit attack was led by Makayla Krepps’ five-RBI, three-hit night, Madi Campbell with three hits and three RBI. Bobbi Poff added two hits, and all three batters scored twice.

Marion County 5, Hawkinsville 1

The pitchers dual turned with Marion County’s four-run sixth. Samantha Lancaster had two hits for the Red Devils.

Perry 13, Bleckley County 1

A dozen runs in the fourth broke open a close game and ended it. Terra Odom, Raegan Stella, AliRae Dykes, and Abby Ussery each had two hits through the top four spot in the lineup, Dykes and Miranda Lawhorn driving in two runs each. Reagan Hughes was mighty efficient in the four-inning six hit win. Riley Edge had two hits for the Royals.

Starrs Mill 3, Jones County 1

Starrs Mill got the pitching, striking out 17 Greyhounds and needing every single one, being held scoreless until three in the top of the seventh. Kenzie Forrester and Savannah Williams gave up only three hits, but the Greyhounds couldn’t conver the one-hit advantage into more than a first-inning run.
