The bullpen again covered a rough starter’s night, and six hits from the top two batters in the lineup – Ronald Acuna and Dansby Swanson – paced Atlanta to a 5-4 win over the NY Mets.
Nick Markakis tied the game with a homer in the eighth, and then Austin Riley put Atlanta up right after that with another homer.
Julio Teheran gave up two runs and five hits in 3.1 innings, with four strikeouts and three walks. Jerry Blevins, Touki Toussant, Sean Newcomb, Jacob Webb, and Luke Jackson teamed for five strikeouts, one walk, three hits and two runs (Toussaint).
Acuna and Dansby Swanson had three hits each, Riley two. Atlanta outhit New York 13-8.

Macon rolls past Florence
Florence led early, and the game went back and forth until Macon scored eight runs in the final three innings for a 10-5 Coastal Plain road win.
Florence committed five errors, which led to allegedly four unearned runs.
Florence led 1-0 after one, and 5-2 after the sixth, until the Bacon got rolling late.
Logan Fink (Tattnall) and Calvin Estrada had two hits apiece for Macon, M.J. Rookard adding two RBI to Nathan Schreckengost’s three.
Macon is at Lexington County on Tuesday.
