Georgia Southern’s Fisk takes second at NCAA golf championship

          Oklahoma State’s Michael Wolff was the favorite, but he got some heat from Georgia Southern’s Steven Fisk in Monday’s individual championship, Wolff topping Fisk – a Ping All-Region pick – by five strokes.

          Fisk was third through Sunday when Georgia Southern’s team failed to make he cut, but he advanced.

          Georgia’s Trent Phillips had to win a playoff Monday morning to continue, and he finished in a tie for eighth.
