Pair places at Meet of Champions

Two Central Georgia high school track athletes placed in the Meet of Champions held last week at Marietta.

Justin Wachtel of Mary Persons was third in the boys 3,200, only five seconds behind the winner.

Warner Robins’ Zaida Carson finished seventh in the shot put and 13th in the girls discus.

Dozens of athletes competed for a track club, so email centralgasports@gmail.com with any Central Georgians who did so and their event and place, and we’ll post an update.
