          The Gators took control with an 8-1 first-inning lead to finish it in three. Walt Jarrett went 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs. Tony Rudolph, Josh McMillian, Luke Haley, and Hale Stapp had two hits each, Haley with three RBI and McMillian and Stapp with two RBI each. Preston Brown fanned seven in three innings. Logan Merritt threw a three-inning no-hitter in the nightcap, with seven strikeouts and two walks. Six errors and 12 walks led Gatewood to need only six hits, two from Stapp, to finish off the GISA series.
