Area players in all-star games

          Saturday was gameday for several Central Georgia high school basketball players in the Georgia Athletic Association all-star games in Brunswick.

          Rosters, however, weren’t released until the day before the games.

          For the girls seniors game, the North: Tomiyah Alford, Lamar County. South: Crystal Corley, Baldwin; Danasia Shaw, Peach County; Destiny Wright, Dodge County.

          Boys seniors, North: Devin Butts, Stratford. South. North: Darius Dunn, Northeast; Austin Sloan, Houston County; Zyrice Scott, Upson-Lee.

          There were no Central Georgia junior girls selected.

          Boys sophomores, South: Jarden Maze, Washington County; Darrius Hayes, Upson-Lee. Darrell Lockhart and Michael Price of Upson-Lee are the South coaches.

          The GACA also offered no stats or details on the games.
