Gatewood 20, Briarwood 5

Tony Rudolph belted a grand slam, James Williamson added three RBI on three hits and Bryce Jonson three on two to pace Gatewood. Luke Haley and Preston Brown had two hits each in the three-inning game.

Mary Persons 8, Cook 4
The hosts scored in the first four innings to get control. Eric Snow had three hits, and Nate Howard and Jerry Andrews two each, Howard with three RBI.

Strong Rock 5, FPD 3

Tattnall 2, Trinity Christian 0

Brooks Gorman had a masterful afternoon on the mound, with 13 strikeouts and two walks in the complete-game three-hitter win. The Trojans had only five hits, pushing across a run in the third and in the fourth, stranding nine runners.

Tattnall 11, Pacelli 1
Hunter Alexander and Russ Miller teamed for a five-run no-hitter, despite seven walks and no strikeouts. Carter Fink led the Trojans with four hits, two runs, and two RBI, Brooks Gorman adding two hits and three RBI.

Upson-Lee 11, Rutland 4
A 10-run surge in three middle innings lifted the Knights, as did a three-hit, eight-RBI day from Ben McDaniel, who had a homer and double. Turner Maddox had two hits and three runs, and Chance Gamble scored three times. Jonathan Harnist had three hits and two runs for the Hurricanes.

Upson-Lee 9, Cook 1
A two-run first was enough for the Knights, who added six in the sixth, aided in part by a five-error game from Cook, leading to eight unearned runs. Jake Willis went the distance, fanning five with two walks. Chance Gamble went 4-for-4 at leadoff with two RBI and three runs. Ben McDaniel and Logan Spivey had two hits each.
