ACE 9, Peach County 7
ACE came up huge with six in the seventh for the road win, aided in part by four errors leading to four unearned runs. Three runs came in on one play, a passed ball and error. Chasen Lewis had two hits and two RBI, as did CJ Seymour.
Bleckley County 13, Howard 2
The Royals gained control early, sparked by seven in the second. Steven Knighton and Brody Little teamed for five hits and eight RBI for Bleckley County, Lane Kitchens adding two hits, two RBI, and four runs. Knighton and Carson Waters combined for a four-hitter.
George Walton 5, FPD 4
Two runs in the sixth lifted George Walton, despite three fewer hits. Chet Thompson had three hits for FPD, and Harrison Aulds struck out nine in six innings.
Lee County 11, Northside 1
Mount de Sales 7, Stratford 2
The Cavs won it with five in the fifth, despite two more errors than the Eagles. Walker Schofield drove in three with a two-out double in the fifth. Jackson Taylor struck out 10 in 5.2 innings. Schofield had four RBI on one hit and Landon Jernigan scored three times, Rossman Diaz, Andrew Craddock and Kobe Butts with two hits each.
Rutland 12, Central 7
The teams combined for 17 runs in the seventh, 11 from the Hurricanes, who survived four errors. Peyton McKinney went 4-for-4 for Rutland, Aubrey Merritt driving in three runs on two hits and Parker Leslie two on two. Aubrey Evans had four RBI for Central, which got two-hit nights from Jalik Thomas, Charles Jackson, and Xavier Darden.
Tattnall 14, Pacelli 1
Brooks Gorman and Carter Fink each had two hits and three RBI, while Trey Ham added three RBI and Brett McHugh two. Fink, McHugh, and Gorman all had homers. Bo Hatcher and Gavin Whitfield teamed for a five-inning four-hitter.
Trinity Christian 16, Gatewood 4
Six runs were unearned, thanks to four errors by Gatewood, which got three hits from Josh McMillian.
West Laurens 4, Veterans 3
An error, sacrifice, hit batter, error, and two-run double by E.J. Holmes gave the Raiders the three runs to win in the sixth, West Laurens getting the win on three hits and thanks to three errors and nine walks. Bradley Wilson had two hits for the Raiders, AJ Simpson two for the Warhawks.
