Bacon County scored two in the top of the seventh and held Veterans to one in the bottom half for the opener win. The scenario replayed itself in the sixth inning of the nightcap.

Jaden Woods and Dylan Tabor teamed on the mound for the Bears, who scored two in the third and held on in the opener. Cameron Jones went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Pike returned the favor in the nightcap, aided by three Houston County errors.
Peach County 8, Mount de Sales 7
It was a back and fourth game, a three-run fifth leading the Trojans. Simon Grant had a two-run single in that inning, shortly after J Harnist was caught stealing home. The Cavs rallied with two in the sixth. Eric Johnson had four hits, three runs, and two RBI for Peach County, Derone Stewart adding three hits and two runs. Grant drove in three runs on two hits.

Tattnall led early and pulled away late in the opener, Trey Ham with four RBI on two hits as the Trojans scored 11 on six hits, aided by nine walks and two errors. Brooks Gorman struck out 11 with a walk in the complete-game win. Dawson Brown fanned 10 with a walk in the nightcap shutout, the offense sparked by Carter Fink’s four RBIs and two hits.
