Bibb vs. Houston public school senior all-stars ready to go

          Dozens of some of the top seniors in Central Georgia will represent their home counties in the inaugural Bibb vs. Houston All-Star Senior Bowl.

       Players from the two counties’ public high schools include Houston County’s Wesley Steiner, who signed Wednesday morning with Auburn, and Warner Robins’ finalists Malachi Weatherspoon and Jahmere Bryant, among others, from Houston County.

            Westside’s Victor Dixon Jr. and Jehlen Cannady, Howard’s Keanu Blash, Northeast’s JaCoby Hill, and Central’s Walter Nesbit Jr. are among the Bibb County players.

            Kickoff is 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Ed DeFore Sport Complex. Tickets are $10 and available only at the gate. Funds raised go toward athletics and fine arts scholarship. Next year’s game will be played in Houston County.

            The concession stands will not be open, but there will be food trucks on site form 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. A ticket comes with a wristband to leave the stadium for a food truck visit and return to the stadium.

          Scheduled food trucks: Momma’s and More, Street Eatz, Guitarras, and Queens Pretzel Palace.
