It took the Trojans three innings in the GISA playoff opener, led by two-hit games from Madison Brown, Brayden Latimer, and Ella Hudgins, Sutton Eady driving in five along with belting a grand slam. Brown added two RBI. Latimer fanned 10 with no walks or hits in four perfect innings. JMA went four in the nightcap, Brookwood finishing the day with nine errors. Eady went 4 for 4 with five RBI, Brown with three hits, three runs, and two RBI. Olivia Rhodes and Caitlyn McCrary had two hits each, McCrary scoring three times and driving in three runs. Latimer and Ashley Tyson teamed up in the circle for eight strikeouts and a three-hitter.
