Bleckley County 20, Southwest 0

          The Royals needed only three innings, and Macey Haley was perfect in all three. The Royals earned 10 walks, and Southwest had three errors

East Laurens 18, Northeast 1

          The Falcons scored 14 in the third, and needed only eight hits, thanks to three errors, six walks, and two wild pitches. Juli Luecke had five RBI and a homer for the Falcons, who got a 5-K 1-hitter from Kaliegh Jackson.

FPD 9, Tattnall 5

          In a battle of errors – five for each team – FPD dropped five runs in the top of the seventh to knock off the Trojans. Karsen Ochs came up huge, with a 10-strikeout performance in the circle to go with a 4-for-5 night in the box, with three runs. Oliva Parker had two hits and four RBI for the Vikings. Courtney Ball had two of Tattnall’s five hits. Parker’s two-run homer early in the seventh gave FPD the lead, and an error and hit batter kept the inning going as the Vikings added runs on a single, sacrifice fly, and single.

Hawkinsville 9, Taylor County 0

          Nadia Sloan had three hits and three RBI and Danielle Powers fanned nine with no walks and two hits in the five-inning win.

Houston County 5, Jones County 1

          The pitchers’ duel ended abruptly in the sixth with five runs from the home team, which handed the visiting team its first loss. Two runs came in on wild pitches, the other three on singles from Ansley Garland, bases-loaded walk to Alice Thomas, and a single from Madi Campbell. Campbell had three hits and Makayla Krepps two for Houston County. Destin Howard had three hits for the Greyhounds.

Mary Persons 8, Howard 6

          Things looked good for Howard after a 5-run first, until Mary Persons scored four in the fifth and sixth. The sixth was keyed by Destiny Middlton’s 2-run triple. Karli Buchanan had four hits for Howard, Middleton and Aleah Hayman three each for the Bulldogs.

Perry 8, West Laurens 7

          The Panthers got the region win, despite four errors, Abby Ussery delivering a 1-0 single to left to bring in Carsen Garner with the winning run with no outs. AliRae Dykes had three hits and two RBI for the Panthers, while Abby Ussery and Carsen Garner had two hits each.

Stratford 11, Mount de Sales 2

          The Eagles took control with a 5-1 lead after two, adding a pair of three-run innings. Taylor Justice drove in five runs on two hits for the Eagles.

Veterans 8, Warner Robins 5

          Shut out after two innings, the Warhawks scored in five straight innings, and were aided by eight Demon errors, matching the Demon hits output. Reagan Stella had three hits and three RBI, and Emily Myers and Aleah Ostrat had two each for Veterans. Holly Bass and Paige Magoto had two hits each for Warner Robins

Westfield 5, John Milledge 0

          Emma Williams struck out 13 with only two walks in the two-hitter. Which is how many hits she had, along with Avery Adams.
