Thursday’s high school menu is fuller than anywhere else

          There was, in fact, softball in Central Georgia on Thursday, and the only place to find that out is here, with 10 softball scores and one volleyball score, and 28 names of softball players who did some things.

          There are the state h.s. football polls and a roundup on the Central Georgia teams. There is the list of predictions by the Maxwell Ratings. And The Sports Report’s weekly predictions – don’t get testy, we’re doing pretty good – are up.

Georgia baseball schedule

          Georgia’s top-20 baseball team will play four in-state opponents as part of the 56-game schedule in 2019.

          Home and away in-state battles with Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State, Georgia Southern, and Georgia State.

          Home non-conference opponents include Clemson, The Citadel, and Jacksonville State.
