Monday's Braves Report: Newcomb back in form, bullpen better than form

          Sean Newcomb pitched a strong six innings, allowing one run on three hits with eight strikeouts as Atlanta topped San Francisco 4-1.

          The Atlanta bullpen of Carle, Jonny Venters and A.J. Minter was perfect in three innings, with no hits or walks and three strikeouts. Newcomb, 12-8, fanned eight in a walk-free performance.

          Kurt Suzuki went 3-for-3 with an RBI, while Freddie Freeman and Ozzie Albies added two hits each and Dansby Swanson two RBI.
