Class 6A

Lee County vs. Northside

          Until last year, Lee County – started in 1971 – had made the playoffs 10 times and not gotten past the second round.

          Peach County (started in 1970) has reached the semifinals 10 other times, and four of the last five coaches – Chad Campbell, Rance Gillespie, Rodney Walker, and Neal Rumble – reached at least one championship. Alan Rodemaker was at Peach County in 1999-2000, going 1-2 in the postseason before leaving coaching for several years for private business.
