Savannah played Macon

          And Savannah won 6-1, getting off to a 5-0 lead after one.

          Both teams had six hits, Macon led by Zach Weisz’s 2-for-4 night.

          The Bananas stranded only three runners on six hits and only two walks.

          Bill Leroy (West Laurens) drove in three runs on one hit.

          Macon (22-23) hosts Florence on Thursday in a doubleheader starting at 6 p.m.
