Macon reaches. 500 again with road win
Macon got control early and only strengthened in thumping Lexington County 12-2 to return to .500.
Tanner Wetrick, Jackson Jones, Riley King had three hits each, and Andres Perez, Sean McDermott, added two hits each. Wetrich and Jones drove in three runs apiece.
James Williams struck out 10 and walked three in seven innings for the winning, getting bullpen help from Patrick Orlando and trevor Damron.
Macon is at Florence on Tuesday, hosts Savannah on Wednesday and then visits the Bananas on Thursday.
