Culberson drills walk-off in Braves win; second game delayed
Charlie Culberson is becoming the home run walk-off king.
He has seven regular-season homers in his career. And three have been walk-offs, the latest coming in Atlanta's 3-2 first-game win Monday.
Such sportsy heroics weren't repeated in the nightcap, delayed until after 10 p.m. and not done until almost 1:30 a.m., the Mets taking an 8-5 win and the Braves stranding 13.
Georgia gets NCAA regional and national seed
Georgia got the hosting gig Sunday night, and received more good news Monday with a national seed for the NCAA baseball tournament.
The Bulldogs got an eighth seed, and regional action starts Friday.

Augusta U.'s Everett wins NCAA golf title
Broc Everett, a senior from West Des Moines, Iowa, gave Augusta U. another visit to the NCAA golf championship limelight by winning the individual championship.
The absolute stunning part of the story? He had never finished first in a college tournament, and pulled off the biggest win in his final tournament.
And he pulled it off at the same course, in Oklahoma, where Augusta won the second of their consecutive national titles, in 2011. That team was led by Patrick Reed, this year's Masters champion.
