The Bobcats scored an early touchdown, but Lander got back into it, although not enough, and Georgia College opened the Peach Belt tournament with a 9-6 win.
All seven runs in the second came with two outs. Lander did touch up PBC pitcher of the year Charlie Hecht for six runs, but he's now 11-0 when he goes seven.

Lenoir-Rhyne got the lead in the second inning and kept it for a 10-2 win over Georgia College in the NCAA Southeast Regional.
The loss ended No. 20 Georgia College's season at 36-15, while the 43-9 Bears continue.
