            Homers by Ryan Jones and Dalton Cox paced the Vikings to a win over the top public seed. Jones drove in 5 runs, Hudson Mimbs 3, 2 RBI from Gavin Bloodworth, and Cox, that trio getting 2 hits each and Jones 3 along with Hudson Aulds.

John Milledge 7, Brentwood 6

            The Trojans pulled ahead with 6 in the fourth and held on. Jared Prestwood drove in 2 runs for JMA, while Brentwood got 2-hit games from Jay Musselwhite, Denver Pingley, and Will Ahrens.

Tattnall 10, ECI 0

            The Trojans cruised in a pre-playoff tuneup, with 13 hits and a team shutout from four pitchers. Logan Simmons and Brooks Gorman each went 3-for-3 with 2 RBI from the top 2 spots in the lineup, Austin Marchman and Miles Morris adding 2 hits each and teaming for 5 RBI.
