Mayhem lose Sicard for the season
    A key piece of Macon's SPHL championship last season won't be around to help the Mayhem repeat.
    Dennis Sicard was placed on season-ending injured reserve on Sunday. Jeff Sanders was activated from the 21-day IR.


College Baseball: Tech sweeps Miami for first time since 2011
    Pitchers Tristin English and Andy Archer came up big as Georgia Tech beat Miami 4-1 for the Yellow Jackets' first sweep of the Hurricanes since 2011, and first at home since -yep - 1967.

National: Notre Dame wins national title on last-second shot, second one of the weekend
    Arike Ogunbowale hit a last-second shot to get Notre Dame past UConn and into the women's NCAA Tournament, and she went and topped that with a buzzer-beater for the national title in an epic finish.

  She broke the hearts of a pair of teams a combined 73-1.
