          The Royals made the opener a 5-inning game with 4 in the fifth. Sam Knighton went 3-for-3 with 3 RBI and Carter Raffield was 2-for-3 - both doubles - with 2 runs. Shayne Cannon struck out 6 and walked 1 in a 5-inning no-hitter. The Royals made it a 3-inning nightcap with 12 in the first, Carson Waters and Lane Kitchens giving up 1 hit and the Patriots committing 8 errors. Joseph Spires had 3 hits, and Tripp Purser, Andrew Butler and Knighton 2 hits each, Knighton adding 3 RBI and Butler and Raffield 2.

CFCA 17, CrossPointe 2

Cross Creek 10, Baldwin 1

          The Braves trailed 10-0 after 3, and had 6 errors in 4 innings.

East Laurens 8, Dublin 6

          The Falcons survived 6 errors to take the rivalry game on the road. Cam Oliver, Gavin Donaldson had 2 hits each, and Alex Muns fanned 7 in 4 innings of relief, Dublin held to 5 hits. Zion Washington had 2 hits for the Irish, and Kendall Wade drove in 3 runs.

Elbert County 20, Putnam County 1

Hawkinsville 18, Greenville 2

Houston County 24, Northside 0; Houston County 11, Northside 1

          Cameron Jones drove in 6 runs on 3 hits and scored 5 times for the Bears, who needed only 14 hits, thanks to 5 errors and 9 walks, in the opener. Logan Morris and Dylan Tabor had 2 hits each, and Bryant Rowell drove in 3 runs, Morris and Jeremy White adding 2 RBI. Chandler Dawson struck out 6 in 4 innings for Houston County (19-7, 9-3), which scored 11 in the first inning, while Northside went through 6 pitchers. RJ Preston led the Bears in the second game, going 4-for-5 with 2 RBI, Dawson adding a 3-for-3 game and 2 RBI. Jones, Chandler Ring, Dillon Toms, and Jacob Profit had 2 hits each, Toms and Profit chipping in 2 RBI each. The Bears scored 3 in the seventh to make it a 10-run spread.

Jones County 3, Strong Rock Christian 1

          The Greyhounds celebrated on senior night by getting a 2-0 lead after 1 and surviving 4 errors and 5 walks. Ty Gordon and Hunter Pierce had 2 hits each.

Manchester 10, Crawford County 0

Marion County 19, Dooly County 4

Mary Persons 7, Perry 0

          The Bulldogs pulled away late, with 3 in the fifth and seventh, Perry hurt by 4 errors. Aaron Mock, Austin Mock, and Jerry Andrews  led Mary Persons with 3 hits each, Austin Mock  with 3 RBI. Connor Watson went the distance, with 9 Ks and 2 BBs. Andrew Newhouse led Perry with 3 hits, and Tanner Wilson fanned 9 Bulldogs.

Pike County 6, Peach County 1

          The Trojans led 1-0 after one, and that was it, Pike County taking the lead for good with 3 in the second.

Rutland 13, Central 4

          A 5-run third propelled the Hurricanes, led by Logan Moss's 3-for-4 game with 3 RBI. Peyton McKinney and Taylor Brummett had 2 hits each, and Riley Jones added 2 RBI. Jones and Jonathan Harnist teamed for 11 Ks and no walks for Rutland.

Spalding 6, West Laurens 3

Trinity Christian 8, Gatewood 0

Veterans 7, Warner Robins 0; Veterans 6, Warner Robins 3

          Derek Wylie and Matthew Nunez had 2 hits each for the Warhawks, who broke open a 0-0 game with 6 in the fifth, while Nunez and Cole Hooks had 2 RBI each in the first game. Daniel Hawthorne fanned 9 with 2 walks in 6 innings, Hunter Varnadoe finishing with 2 Ks in the seventh to finish the 3 hitter. Four runs in the first two innings of the nightcap was enough for the Warhawks, boosted by 2-hit games from Ben Gibbs and Wylie, Gibbs adding 2 RBI. Gibbs, Jackson Williams, and Wylie handled the pitching and got 13 Ks to 4 BBs. Zavier McIntyre had 2 of the Demons' 4 hits.

Westfield 9, John Milledge 6

          Michael Fitzpatrick went 2-for-4 with 3 RBI, and Tee Adams and Peyton Black had 2-hit games for the Hornets, who scored 5 in the fourth and then pulled ahead with 1 in the fifth. JMA surrendered 5 unearned runs with 4 errors. Brandon Bellflower had 2 hits for the Trojans.

          Jack Fernandez, Noah Wimberly, and Andrew Butler had 2 hits apiece for Bleckley County, doomed by a 4-run third by Fitzgerald.

Jones County 6, Dutchtown 4

          The Greyhounds scored 3, two coming on Dawson Barnes' double to center, in the sixth to win. Ty Gordon had an RBI single earlier in the inning. Colby Gordon led JC with a 3-for-3 game and 2 runs. Gordon and Sammy Walton had 2 hits each, Teldrick Ross added a homer and 3 RBI and Dawson Ross 2 RBI.

Stratford 4, FPD 3

          Carson Dorsey's single to right brought in Andrew Palmer with the lead and winning run in the top of the seventh. Sam Clark had 2 hits for the Eagles, who survived giving up 9 walks by giving up only 2 hits.

Upson-Lee 9, Howard 2

          Brooks Gulley and Logan Spivey went 3-for-4 and Gabe Pollard and Joshua Keeter 2-for-4 for the Knights, who scored 5 in the second. Cotton Phillips struck out 6 in 6 innings.

          Jayda Danner helped the Royals clinch second in the region on a penalty kick.

          Emory Sutherland and Susan Hightower scored in the first half for Stratford, and that was it for the scoring.

          Lectavious Austin had 3 hits and Anquez Thomas 4 RBI for Baldwin.

Houston County 12, Warner Robins 0

          The Bears made it a shortened game after scoring 7 in the first. Jeremy White went 2-for-4 with 4 RBI for the Bears, Corbet Luna and Jacob Profit adding 2 hits each. Xavier McIntyre had both of Warner Robins' hits, Jaden Woods and Connor Martin teaming for 11 Ks and 3 BBs for Houston County.

Lee County 4, Veterans 2

          Lee County got 4 in the fourth after the Warhawks opened with 2 in the first but managed nothing after that. Ben Gibbs had 3 of Veterans' 8 hits as the Warhawks stranded 9, one less than Lee County.

Perry 8, Mary Persons 2

          The Panthers took control with 5 in the second, getting RBI hits from Andrew Newhouse, Jacob Hunt, Clayton Davis (for 2 runs), and a run-scoring grounder from John Micah Law. Hunt had 3 hits and 2 RBI, Davis 2 hits and 3 RBI, and Newhouse and Beau Bryant had 2 hits each. Jerry Andrews had 2 hits for Mary Persons.

Schley County 11, MdS 6; Schley County 7, Mount de Sales 1

          The Cavs outhit Schley County by 1 in the opener, but were in a 6-0 hole after an inning. Walker Schofield, Rossman Diaz, and Micah Hattaway had 2 hits each for MdS, which managed only 3 hits in the nightcap.

Upson-Lee 4, Howard 0

          Upson-Lee played quality small ball with single runs in four innings, behind the efficient pitching of Alex Blount (3Ks, 1 BB, 4 hits). Gabe Pollard had 2 hits and 2 runs, and Logan Spivey scored twice from the bottom of the lineup.

          Baldwin had 8 hits, which Hephzibah matched with 8 errors in the 3-inning game, a no-hitter thrown by Victor Hill. CJ Hurst went 3-for-3 with 3 runs and RBI, and Nathan Rouse had 2 hits and 3 RBI while Lectavious Austin hd 2 hits and 3 runs.

Bleckley County 3, East Laurens 1

          The Royals got enough with 2 in the third,  on a walk, sacrifice, bunt single by Lane Kitchens, a balk, and RBI fly from Brody Little. Carter Raffield had 8 Ks and no walks in 4 innings, Sam Knighton getting the save with 5 Ks in 3 innings. Seth Newsome had 2 hits for East Laurens.

Dublin 9, Northeast 3

          The Irish sealed it with 5 in the fourth. Montarion Carswell drove in 3 runs on 2 hits, and the Irish got 2 hits from Kendell Wade, Torian Holder, and Triquavious Moye. Moye had 6Ks and 1 BB in the complete-game win.

FPD 6, Stratford 2

          Gavin Bloodworth and Garret West each drove in 2 runs and Hudson Mimbs had 2 hits to lead the Vikings, Noah Takac going 5.2 and fanning 6 for the win. Trey Giles had 2 hits for the Eagles.

GMC 17, Greene County 1

          The Bulldogs exploded for 13 in the second for the 2.5-inning game, which was expediated by 7 Greene County errors. Carson Knowles drove in 4 runs on 2 his, and Justin Alford had 2 hits, while Cory Bivins scored 3 times and had 2 RBI.

Houston County 11, Northside 1

          Four-run third and fifth innings lifted Houston County, which needed only 8 hits, thanks to 1 errors and 7 walks. Corbet Luna went 3-for-4 with 3 RBI and 2 runs and Chandler Dawson was 2-for-4 with 2 runs. Darius Clarington had 2 hits for the Eagles.

Jones County 15, Dutchtown 3

          Brandin Johnson went 3-for-5 with 3 runs and 3 RBI to lead the Greyhounds, who got 2-hit games from Jackson Mix, Colby Gordon, Ty Gordon, and Hunter Pierce. Ty Gordon and Chase Wright added 2 RBI each, and Pierce gave up 5 hits in 4 innings, striking out 5.

Monticello 8, Oglethorpe County 2

          Braden Lynch and Tyler Wages had 2 hits each for the Hurricanes.

Rutland 9, Central 3

          The Hurricanes clicked, tripling the Chargers in runs and hits. Taylor Brummett went 3-for-4 with 3 RBI, with Aubrey Merritt, Riley Jones, and Peyton McKinney adding 2 hits each, Merritt 2 RBI.

Schley County 11, Taylor County 0

Tattnall 13, Strong Rock Christian 1; Strong Rock 9, Tattnall 7

          Logan Fink drove in 4 runs on 3 hits, while Dawson Brown and BJ Spears had 2-hit, 2-RBI games and Trey Ham drove in 2 in the opener. Luke Laskey went the full 5 for the win. Strong Rock was outhit by 3 in the nightcap, but took advantage of 6 walks and 4 errors, racking up 3 in the ninth and 5 in the final 3 innings for the win. Miles Morris went 2-for-4 with 3 RBI for Tattnall, Brooks Gorman and Austin Marchman adding a pair of hits each.

Westfield 15, John Milledge 13

          Westfield survived 6 errors, thanks to senior Matt Muse's walk-off 2-run homer on a full count. Muse went 2-for-4 with 4 RBI and 2 runs, Tee Adams adding 4 RBI and 3 hits in 5 trips. Tyler Bass, Brandon Bellflower and Caleb Rogers had 2 hits each for JMA.

          Six runs in the sixth - on 3 hits, 2 walks, and a passed ball with 13 Huskies getting to bat - made the difference for Howard, which matched host U-L with 4 errors in ending a 9-game losing streak. Collin Blackwell and Justin Smith had 2 hits each for Howard, while Scott Campbell drove in 2 runs. Chance Gamble had 2 of the Knights' 3 hits.

Mount de Sales 8, GMC 7

          The Cavs pulled ahead with 3 in the third and held on, the Bulldogs getting 1 in the seventh and loading the bases with 1 out. MdS's Carson Riley ending it with 2 strikeouts, the third out coming on a dropped third strike.

Perry 1, Mary Persons 0

          John Micah Law made a first-inning run stand up with a 2-hit complete-game shutout, striking out 8 and walking 1. Losing pitcher Alex Kite went all the way, with 6 Ks and no walks, the two giving up a total of 5 hits. Courtesy runner Gannon Popham - in for Andrew Newhouse, who was hit - scored from second on Jacob Hunt's double to right in the Perry first.
