          Three runs in the second gave pitchers Brooks Gorman and Christian Arnett all they needed, the pair teaming for 11 Ks, 3 BBs and 3 hits. Logan Simmons went 3-for-3 with 3 runs, BJ Spears drove in 3 runs on 2 hits, and Trey Ham added 2 hits.

          A 5-run first was more than enough for the Trojans, who got 7 runs on 6 hits and took advantage of 7 walks (which Walker couldn't do). Ham had 2 hits and 2 RBI, Miles Morris added 2 hits and Austin Marchman 2 RBI.

          The Falcons got going late, but got going, with 15 runs in the fifth and sixth innings, the Patriots suffering 4 errors. Seth Newsome was 4-for-4 with 4 runs and 2 RBI, and Chase Oliver drove in 4 runs on 2 hits. Cuyler Morris had 3 hits and Alex Muns 2 hits and 2 RBI, Jhiquez Lovett adding 3 RBI for the Falcons. Ryan Mimbs went 4 no-hit innings and fanned 7.

FPD 8, Coffee 7

          The Vikings knocked off Class 6A Coffee, getting the game-winner in the bottom of the fifth and getting quality relief pitching from Gavin Bloodworth and Barrett Barkley after a good start from Michael Bakkar. Dalton Cox's sac fly to center brought in Hudson Mimbs with the go-ahead run in the fifth.

Houston County 5, Denham Springs 4

          Jacob Profit and Corbet Luna walked to open the bottom fo the 10th, and Cam Jones singled to center to bring in Profit with the game-winner. RJ Preston and Logan Morris had 2-hit games for the Bears.

Jackson 10, Rutland 3

          Jonathan Harnist, Riley Jones, and Peyton McKinney each had 2 hits for Rutland, which also had 3 errors.

John Milledge 7, Windsor 2

          Five runs in the first were more than enough for John Milledge, led by a 2-for-4 game with 3 RBI from Caleb Rogers.

          The Greyhounds put 12 on the board in the first 2 innings of the 5-inning game, helped by 4 errors. Brandin Johnson was 2-for-3 with 4 RBI, and Colby Gordon drove in 3 runs.

          Seven runs in the third and fourth lifted Tattnall, despite 4 errors. Austin Marchman went 3-for-4 with 6 RBI, and Luke Laskey drove in 2 runs with 2 hits.

          A 13-run first was more than enough for the Vikings, helped in the 3-inning game by 6 errors. Connor Tharpe and Ryan Tharpe had 2 hits each, and Gunnar Watson drove in 3 runs, both Tharpes 2 along with Carter Albritton.

          Lectavious Austin and Anquez Thomas had 2 hits each for the Braves, who had 8 errors.

Veterans 6, Perry 2; Perry 3, Veterans 1

          Perry outhit Veterans 6-4, but stranded three times as many runners, 9. Matthew Nunez had 2 hits for Veterans, while John Micah Law and Jacob Hunt had 2 for the Panthers, who gave up 4 in the sixth. Hunt had 2 hits and 2 RBI in the nightcap, Clayton Davis adding 2 hits. The Panthers got the key 2 runs in the third.

Washington County 6, Bleckley County 5

          Jackson Lanthrip singled, advanted on a grounder, and scored the game-winner on Bailey Vickers' single to left in the top of the seventh for the Golden Hawks, who outhit the Royals 11-4. Jackson Smith had 3 RBI for Washington County, and Steven Knighton went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI for Bleckley County.

          GMC needed only 3 innings, Justin Alford and Jontavious Byner striking out 7. Alford had 4 RBI, Jacob Marshal and Cory Bivins 3 each.

          Five runs in the third put the Bears in control. Chandler Ring struck out 11 with a walk in 5 innings. Logan Morris led the offense with 3 hits, with Jackson Jones and Chandler Dawson had 2 RBI each. Houston County 4, Denham Springs 0

          Cam Jones was money on the mound, with 6 Ks and 2 BBs in a 3-hitter. Dillon Toms, Jones, RJ Preston, and Jackson Jones each had 2 hits for the Bears.

          Jakson Marsh's single scored Jonah Stout with the walk-off game-winner with 2 outs, Stout reaching on a walk. Marsh had 3 hits and Stout 2, as did Logan Sharpton and Devin Cato for the Trojans, who were outhit 15-10.

          In the opener, Britt Davis threw a no-hitter, with 8 strikeouts and 2 walks, throwing 55 pitches in 5 innings. Eric Johnson and Jake Wingo each had 3 hits, Brody Harrelson 2. Wingo drove in 3 runs, with 2 RBI each from Davis, Simon Grant, and Marium Harris. A 4-run first got the Trojans going in the nightcap. Wingo had 2 hits and Johnson 3 RBI, Wingo getting 12 Ks in the 5-inning game.

Tattnall 5, Mount de Sales 2

          Tattnall used small ball - only 4 hits to go with 8 walks - with 3 steals and 2 hit batters for the win. Luke Laskey went all 7, with 6 Ks and allowing 4 hits.

Veterans 7, Harris County 2

          Mercer-bound Leyton Pinckney had 3 hits adn 2 RBI while Ben Gibbs also drove in 2 runs for Veterans, which took the lead for good with 2 in the fifth. Gibbs whiffed 12 in 6 innings, and he and Derek Wylie had no walks.

Wheeler County 12, Dublin 7

          Montarion Carswell had 2 hits and 3 RBI to lead Dublin, Torian Holder adding 2 hits. Wheeler County got 6 in the fourth.

          Eagle's Landing got the walk-off in the seventh while no-hitting the Greyhounds.

          A hit batter, error, intentional walk and single by Chaise Donaldson gave the Falcons the walk-off win. Donaldson, Ryan Mimbs, and Jhiquez Lovette had 2 hits each for East Laurens, Lovett scoring twice.

          Noah Takac fanned 6 with 2 walks in the complete-game shutout win, aided by 2-RBI games by Gavin Bloodworth and Tyler Mimbs, and a 2-hit, 2-RBI effort from Ryan Jones.

          Trippe Moore scored the lead run on a wild pitch - after reaching on an error - in the top the seventh, and then retired the side in order - with 2 strikeouts - in the bottom half for the Bulldogs' win.

          The Cavs broke open a close game late with 13 runs in the final 2 innings. Landon Jernigan went 4-for-4 with 3 RBI and 2 runs while Jackson Taylor drove in 3 runs on 2 hits and scored 4 times. Kobe Butts added a pair of hits, and pitchers Carson Riley, Clay Murphy, and Butts teamed for the 3-hitter.

Northside 6, Peach County 5

          An error on Dylan Franks grounder score Javi Rodriguez with the tying run, and Hunter Price singled to left to bring in Franks - who ended up on third on his at-bat - with the game-winner. Rodriguez, Franks, and Price each had 2 hits for the Eagles, while Eric Johnson, Jaylen Green, and Brandon Gray had 2 hits for the Trojans.

          A 4-run fifth was the difference for the Eagles, who teamed with the Huskies for 7 errors.

          The Greyhounds got all they needed in a 1-run first, thanks to the 1-hit pitching from Hunter Pierce, who fanned 4 with no walks in the complete-game win. Ty Gish drove in 2 runs with a double in the Jones County sixth for insurance.

          The Panthers knocked out 13 hits, thanks to 2-hit nights from Andrew Newhouse, Jacob Hunt, Trevor Dykes, Seth Creamer, and Cameron Mashburn, plus 3 RBI from Hunt and John Micah Law and 2 from Newhouse. Perry, which scored 8 in the second and third innings, got solid 4-hit pitching from Law and Justin Eckman. Hunter Price had 2 hits for Northside.
