Thursday's Game

Pike County at Rutland

Kendrick at Westside

            Seminoles officially clinch the second seed and a home game with a win

Friday's Games

Houston County at Valdosta

Dutchtown at Jones County

            Greyhounds need a win to cinch a first-round home playoff game

Bainbridge at Warner Robins

            Well, it's only No. 4 and No. 5 for the region championship

Mary Persons at Howard

            Howard is tied with Spalding, who it lost to, for third

Perry at West Laurens

Upson-Lee at Spalding

            The Knights are a game back of Spalding and Howard, so very much a must win

Cross Creek at Baldwin

            Braves clinch third in region with a win

Jackson at Peach County

Washington County at Dublin

            Burly game with two of the three 3-2 teams in region; math is involved

Bleckley County at Southwest

            Royals could go from second place to sitting home with a loss, depending on WACO-Dublin

East Laurens at Northeast

Lamar County at Temple

Manchester at Macon County

            The visitors are 9-0 and No. 1 and the hosts are defending state public A champs, and they're aboutg 65 miles apart

Brookstone at Taylor County

            The Vikings must win to get a first-round home game

Greenville at Dooly County

            Dooly County is pretty much on the playoff bubble, seals a spot with a win

Hawkinsville at Pacelli

Central-Talbotton at Crawford County

Aquinas at Stratford

Washington-Wilkes at Tattnall

            Both are near the bubble to host a first-round game, W-W at No. 17 and Tattnall at No. 15

Lincoln County at FPD

            Both are playing for a home game in the first round

Warren County at Twiggs County

Hancock Central at Mount de Sales

            The Cavs needs to take care of business against an overmatched team and get momentum for the playoffs

 

GISA-Playoffs

John Milledge at Valwood

            The defending state AAA champs are on the road in the playoffs for the first time since 2015,  and against a power and 2015 champ

Deerfield-Windsor at Gatewood

            Gatewood hosts the 2015 AAA runner-up
